Stanford Solutions Launches Global Initiative to Expedite Clinical Investigations

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) it takes an average of 12 years from submission of an application to the approval of a drug in the United States. While exhaustive investigations into novel therapeutic are mandated in order to mitigate both long- and short-term safety and efficacy issues, the process of standard drug application and approvals is not designed for active biological threats - a lesson humanity has painfully endured during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Stanford Solutions is leading a truly innovative initiative to form an international coalition which is tasked with the mission of conducting rapid clinical investigations during times of global crisis in order to quickly and effectively decipher which of the plethora of purported novel therapeutic candidates are effective and safe.

As opposed to institutions working independently, the present initiative harnesses the combined strength of an international alliance of academic institutions, industry partners and government offices to collaboratively dissect the efficacy and safety of a novel therapeutic.

By devising a common investigational platform, Stanford Solutions and its international partners are able to effectively plant the seeds of clinical investigations across the globe and jump-starting multiple studies in an efficient manner.

The genesis of a common clinical investigations platform not only culminates in a rapid mass-production of clinical trials during global pandemics that makes no compromises to quality but also enables enhanced data sharing and analysis capabilities.

While each individual study generates its own scientific results, the data can be conveniently combined to perform a meta-analysis at transcendent speeds.

Making the transition from concept to implementation is a perpetually daunting task; however, Stanford Solutions has been honored by the aide and camaraderie of some of the best researchers and institutions on the planet in breathing life into this truly global and humanitarian concept.
